A Note from Kim

I started Classic Antique because I wanted to offer exciting, romantic, comfortably elegant antiques and furnishings that were affordable.

It brings us a lot of pleasure to bring together a furniture collection that has a past, either by actual vintage, or by it's design.

• "What plans were made on this 1920's table?"
• "What dreams were dreamt in that 100 year-old bed?"

The photos we find in the drawer of the antiques we get in give glimpses of the people who owned these pieces before us. Living within them anew brings with it a sense of history, a connectedness to the past, as it will to our children who we'll pass these pieces on to.
